Another day, another rumor. This time it’s about Zynga and Facebook. You may know Zynga, developers of the highly addictive and “social” games FarmVille and Mafia Wars. With an over 82.7 million active users cultivating their virtual farms, it’s no wonder Zynga may be pushing to test their player’s devotion meters. How hooked on FarmVille […]

Last time we checked, Microsoft’s solution to the Wii’s motion controls, Project Natal was slated for the holiday season. GamesIndustry.biz reports that Microsoft Saudi marketing manager Syed Bilal Tariq said that Project Natal will launch “somewhere in October” worldwide. Granted, it’s not a solid release date, it’s still something to wet the fanboys who can’t […]

[Note: This is a re-post from Ploked from 3/15/10] Prior to 2006, video games were for the hardcore. Xboxes, PlayStations, and Gamecubes separated the boys from the men. If you didn’t invest in learning button control schemes and combos, you couldn’t rumble with the best players in Soul Calibur II, Halo, or even Mario. When […]

At Nintendo’s Media Summit this morning the gaming company announced that the Nintendo DSi XL will cost $189.99 and hit stores March 28. Not to be left behind by Apple’s latest foray into the e-book business, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales & marketing, Cammie Dunaway also mentioned that “100 Classic books” such […]

There’s no contest that Street Fighter IV is an artistic wonder. No, I haven’t played it yet (I don’t own an Xbox 360 or a PS3..yet), but I sure hope I will in the near future. In the past Capcom has stated that that SFIV isn’t exclusive to the 360 or the PS3 and that […]

DSi Toast

09Feb10

This is exactly what I wish I woke up to this morning. A bit of jam or butter and it would be perfect and a cup of tea. Mmm… If anyone knows how this piece of toast was made, please do tell! Tiny Cartridge

Ah yes. The age old battle between Mario and Sonic. Whose side were you on? I’m a Mario fan. Sonic never really caught on with me. Don’t get me wrong, I loved waking up at the crack of dawn just to watch the Sonic TV show back in the 90’s and I even bought a […]

Suddenly, I really want to see a whole bunch of dead consoles modded into RC cars. Just imagine an Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii racing each other on a track. The PS3 is like a Mack Truck. The 360 is like an RV and the Wii is like a Porshe. Fun times.

Two graphs. One is a line and one is a bar. You can figure the rest out by yourself. I guess even Modern Warfare raking in $1 billion dollars in sales for Activision can’t bring the Xbox 360 and PS3 to even kiss the feet of Mario. Ars Technica

Microsofts plan to change the interface on how we control the living room entertainment center continues to charge on. Ballmer announced on Wednesday that “Project Natal” was on track and will be released by the end of the year in time to start the holidays. According to insiders Microsoft has also decided to ditch a […]
