Technology news for the technologically uninformed and non tech-savvy. Pasta Tech is written for your benefit.
My name is Raymond Wong. I’m a senior studying media as my undergrad.
Juggling Pasta Tech, school and life is no easy feat, but I’m motivated to keep going forward because I’m passionate about technology. It’s constantly improving every day and we live in a technological world where I truly believe in this age that if you can dream it up, it’s possible to create it. It’s all just a matter of time.
Brian Lam and Jason Chen are my heroes. For those who don’t know. Brian and Jason are writers for one of the most popular tech blogs on the planet, Gizmodo. Brian was the former editor-in-chief, passing the baton on to Mr. Chen, who became an tech sensation after shoving a Wii down his pants. The reason they’re my role models is because they are both Chinese. Okay, that’s one of the reasons I look up to them, but the real reason is that they are both great guys who write with a lot of humor occasionally, but take their jobs seriously. Yes, they may joke around a lot, like pulling pranks at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) such as switching off all the TVs with a little remote, but at the end of the day, they bust their asses off. I guess I see similar characteristics in myself. Being Asian, they have really climbed the ladders to get to their positions and they deserve it. Reading Gizmodo for the last three years inspired me to finally start my own tech blog. They give me hope that I can make it too.
