BETA that Chrome for Mac OS X Now
It’s here, it’s here. It’s finally here in all of its super-special BETA form. Google Chrome for Mac OS X that is. As previously mentioned Chrome for Mac is lightning fast. The beta version is now at 184.108.40.206.
Again, Chrome is a web browser alternative to Apple’s Safari, Mozilla’s Firefox, Opera, etc. Give it a go, because Google already owns most of our mail, news, private information; might as well let them help us get onto the web. My developer build Chrome is already updated and I have noticed it is much more stable, not that it was a problem before. I still wish it had support for extensions. The Windows Chrome does however have them, so it’s only a matter of time before they input that into the Mac version.
Be aware that Chrome only runs on Intel Macs and Macs with OS X 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard. Sorry Tiger users or PPC users, you’ve got to upgrade or will continue to be left behind.
